RENOVERTY’s training for rural areas

The RENOVERTY project, funded by the European Union, has launched a free online training programme focused on co-creation for energy renovation in rural areas and tackling energy poverty.

Editorial Team

Energy renovation in rural areas presents unique challenges, including financial constraints, logistical barriers, and limited stakeholder engagement. The European RENOVERTY training programme addresses these issues by equipping participants with strategies for single-family and multi-family building renovations, methods to engage diverse stakeholders, and tools to communicate renovation benefits effectively.

The course covers essential topics such as the Building Life Cycle, the Building Renovation Passport, financial tools, and funding opportunities. It also provides step-by-step guidance on the renovation process, ensuring that participants gain practical knowledge to implement energy-efficient solutions in rural communities.

This training is tailored for local authorities, NGOs, energy experts, and professionals involved in rural development. By fostering collaboration between public and private sectors, RENOVERTY aims to create tailored, sustainable renovation roadmaps that reflect real community needs and promote long-term energy habits.

The RENOVERTY online training is available for free and offers real case studies from pilot areas across Europe to illustrate successful co-creation approaches. To participate, visit the official training page.
