The 'SHAPE II: Affordable Housing Initiative European Partnership' kicked off on November 4 in Brussels, with ECTP and five key partners gathering to launch the second phase (2024–2026) of the project.
Building on the achievements of its first phase (SHAPE-EU, 2022–2024), which focused on energy transition and supporting 22 districts, the new phase expands its focus to resilience, liveability, and circular economy principles.
The initiative offers technical and financial guidance, mentorship, and peer learning through an Accelerator Programme. It aims to combat energy poverty, ensure long-term affordability, and support the EU’s goal of climate neutrality by 2050.
