Slovenia has secured 11.9 million euros in EU funding to boost community self-supply of electricity from renewable sources between 2025-2027.

The funds will support photovoltaic systems of at least 100 kW and local energy communities, mainly for household consumers

This initiative, part of the European Cohesion Policy and Green Transformation for Climate Neutrality, aims to enhance renewable energy production and develop smart energy systems outside the TEN-E network.
