Stefano Boeri Architetti’s ‘Urban Oasis’ masterplan for Bratislava’s Chalupkova district aims to rejuvenate the area with a sustainable focus. The project transforms a neglected industrial zone near the Danube into a vibrant community centred around a large public park.

The design integrates green buildings with traditional European architecture, emphasising sustainability through features like solar panels, green roofs, and pedestrian-friendly infrastructure.

This model neighbourhood, designed to be self-sufficient in energy and function, symbolises a shift towards eco-conscious urban living. Scheduled for completion over a decade, the project by Penta Real Estate promises to elevate Bratislava’s profile while setting a benchmark in urban sustainability.
