The Transform-ER project, funded by Innovate UK under the Net Zero Heat programme, aims to retrofit 1 million homes annually by 2030 to meet the 2050 net zero target. 

The consortium of 13 industry-leading partners will develop and deploy high-quality retrofit solutions by addressing market barriers. 

The project will employ a Demand-Develop-Deploy structure: creating digital tools to assess demand, developing kits-of-parts retrofit solutions, and innovating deployment approaches. 

It focuses initially on social housing, starting April 2024, with plans to expand to commercial and private buildings.
