The Building Research Establishment (BRE) has found that the majority of UK households are not comfortable about how heat pumps work, and a part of them are not aware of the national financial incentives made available by the government.

It is understood that heat pumps are the main technology to implement the energy transition for low-carbon heating. Hence, government need to raise consumer´s awareness of heat pumps and increase investments to scale-up the heat pump market.
