Twelve Ukrainian municipalities will embark on a climate-neutral rebuilding journey under the SUN4Ukraine initiative, supported by the EU Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities Mission.

Announced at the Kyiv conference on Local Self-Government, the project aims to integrate Climate Neutrality Plans into Ukraine's recovery efforts.

The twelve selected cities will receive expert support, training, and guidance from EU Mission Cities.

This effort complements the U_CAN project, led by the Technical University of Dresden, focusing on climate-neutral reconstruction in eight cities, including Kyiv and Kharkiv.

Over 100 municipalities expressed interest in the initiative, reflecting Ukraine's commitment to sustainable recovery.
