Editorial Team

Studio Ghibli, co-founded by Hayao Miyazaki, is renowned for its acclaimed films like 'Spirited Away.' In November 2022, they expanded their influence by opening Ghibli Park in Nagoya, Japan, emphasising harmony with nature rather than conventional theme park attractions.

Repurposing existing structures from the 2005 Aichi World Expo, the park integrates environments inspired by their films, aligning with Shinto beliefs about nature's interconnectedness.

Ghibli Park serves as a model for sustainable design, blending creativity and environmental responsibility, and showcasing that development can coexist with nature, offering a vision for future attractions that respect ecological balance.
