We want European cities to comply with the zero-emissions goal and the sustainability action plans. However, they often face vulnerabilities and challenges: social, economic or cultural segregation, degradation in historical centres, and areas facing energy poverty.

To address these issues, the EU-funded EHHUR project will engage citizens and businesses. It will draw from good practices and benefit from the New European Bauhaus initiative and EU Missions principles. Moreover, it will help transform the architectural environment, reducing energy poverty and inequalities.

EHHUR will take place in seven Lighthouses across Europe (DK, EL, BE, PT, TR, HR, IT) using architectural design, new technologies and support to protect heritage and local cultures. It will provide creative co-designing to demonstrate the best solutions with optimal financing.
