Within the framework of the objectives for nearly-zero energy living future in Europe, the building sector is undergoing continuous transformation. The building industry needs a robust support system to meet these environmental standards.

Towards this aim, the EU-funded METABUILDING LABS project will focus on assisting SMEs of the construction sector to reveal their innovation potential. To achieve this, METABUILDING LABS will reduce the entry barriers to testing innovative technologies in a network of testing facilities in real-time operating systems and living labs in 13 countries, enabling direct input from end-users during the final stages of growth.
