AdEPorto, the Porto Energy Agency, is a non-profit organisation established in 2007 with Public Utility status. It operates a one-stop shop (OSS) service for energy-efficient home renovations in six municipalities of the Porto Metropolitan Area. 

Initially funded by Horizon 2020 until November 2024, AdEPorto is now exploring sustainable financial models, including municipal support and commercial OSS services. 

Acting as a facilitator, it guides homeowners through consultations, funding access, and quality assurance, with a strong focus on energy poverty. Its success stems from municipal integration, extensive partnerships, and EU-funded initiatives, solidifying its role in Portugal’s energy transition.
