A digital tools guide for one-stop-shops

“Setting up community energy one-stop-shops” by Energy Communities Repository targets entities aiming to develop one-stop-shops for energy communities.
Editorial Team

One-stop shops are essential entities that provide administrative, technical, and financial support to energy communities. These entities bridge the information gap, ensuring that citizens are well-informed about energy efficiency measures and solar energy projects, thereby empowering communities to embrace renewable energy.

In the context of EU directives defining Renewable Energy Communities (RECs) and Citizen Energy Communities (CECs), national governments are developing supportive frameworks. One-stop shops emerge as indispensable allies, offering crucial administrative, technical, and capacity-building support.

The guide titled "Setting up community energy one-stop shops," authored by the Energy Communities Repository, documents collaborative efforts from 27 European countries. Three featured members include Asturias Energy Agency (FAEN), Modena Energy and Sustainable Development Agency (AESS), and North-West Croatia Regional Energy and Climate Agency (REGEA). Crafted through interviews, literature reviews, and project analyses, this guide serves as a valuable resource without endorsing specific models.
