A research from the University of Tirana titled ‘Stakeholders’ Engagement in CE Approach on the Built Environment, Albania Case’ underlines how circularity is a nascent concept in Albania's economy, particularly in sectors like construction, where limited research exists. 

The construction industry's interconnectedness with other sectors underscores its impact on overall economic indicators. Challenges abound, particularly concerning the sector's growth and its implications for financial stability. 

Integrating circular economy principles into construction involves understanding stakeholder roles, interactions, and their value contributions throughout the process. Current analyses reveal stakeholder complexities and cooperative challenges despite shared goals. 

Albania faces hurdles, with progress hindered by political, cultural, and financial factors. Efforts so far, their outcomes, and future improvements are scrutinised in this paper, highlighting the sector's path forward.
