The "Zero Emissions Building & REPowerEU: How to decarbonise heating and cooling" conference will take place on 15th November from 10.00H to 15.00H. This conference is part of the REHVA Brussels Summit.

The conference will cover two interlinked topics with speakers from the European Parliament and the Commission, EU think thanks and associations along REHVA experts. The morning session on Healthy Zero Emission Buildings with the EPBD will tackle:

 

  • EP and EC positions on healthy zero emission buildings in the EPBD review
  • the definition of “zero emission buildings”
  • national policy examples and measures to tackle building decarbonisation

ACCESS TO THE STREAM HERE

This conference is part of the REHVA Brussels Summit, an excellent professional networking occasion among REHVA Members, REHVA Supporters and Brussels based stakeholders working in the fields of buildings, energy efficiency and indoor environment quality.

 

As usual, the first day of the summit, 14 November is dedicated to REHVA strategic activities and standing committee meetings - Venue: MAI conference centre, Rue Washington 40, 1050 Brussels. The MAI is easily accessible with public transportation with Bus 38 and 60 or Tram 8 and 93 (stop at Vleurgat), or with Tram 81 and Bus 54 (stop at Baili). The committee meetings are open to the REHVA members only.

 

The Education and Training Committee Meeting will take place in the meeting room Berlin from 13:30 till 15:30, followed by the Publishing and marketing Committee meeting & Editorial Board from 16:00 till 18:00. The Technology and Research Committee Meeting will be held in the meeting room 'Brussels' from 13:30 till 15:30, followed by the Supporters Committee Meeting from 16:00 till 18:00. 

 

The "Zero Emissions Building & REPowerEU: How to decarbonise heating and cooling" conference will take place on 15th November from 10.00H to 15.00H. The afternoon session will focus on the REpowerEU & the phase-out of fossil fuels in heating and cooling. After setting the scene by presentations about:

 

  • REpowerEU policy context for the budling HVAC sector
  • Ecodesign requirements on decarbonisation
  • the new REHVA Task Force on Building decarbonisation, 

Representatives of REHVA supporters and EU level industry associations will join the panelist in a moderated, interactive discussion on the practical feasibility, timeline and challenges of banning fossil fuels in heating and cooling.
