BUILD UP is hosting a webinar organised by FEDARENE, Ambiente Italia and Euroheat & Power on THERMAL communities and citizen-led initiatives for sustainability in buildings. The event will delve into the role of the ConnectHeat project in increase the knowledge level on heating and cooling community energy.

The session will present the topic of thermal communities and the different forms under which they can occur as well as demonstrate the current EU legislative framework for community energy. Furthermore, it will present 2-3 cases of thermal communities which have been successfully implemented and those in the progress of being developed (i.e. one from ConnectHeat), preferably demonstrating different types of such communities. The speakers will share key tools and resources and explain the way these can be used effectively to implement thermal communities.
