The UK Net Zero Carbon Buildings Standard

The UK Net Zero Carbon Buildings Standard
Details of the conference
Launched at the end of 2024, the pilot version of the UK Net Zero Carbon Buildings Standard (UK NZCBS) aims to establish a unified definition for Net Zero Carbon Aligned Buildings in the UK, supported by evidence-based reporting. Its purpose is to reduce misleading claims about Net Zero Carbon in buildings and to promote the design, construction, and use of buildings that contribute to the UK's carbon reduction goals.
The Standard is aimed at the whole construction sector, since achieving Net Zero in the built environment will require cooperation and information sharing. This includes those involved in the design and delivery of HVAC systems, which will be impacted by several of the Standard’s requirements, targets and limits.
Delivered by our Product Specialists, the webinar will explore how the pilot UK NZCBS will impact the specification, design, installation and operation of HVAC systems for both new build and retrofit projects, and how low carbon HVAC systems will have a major role to play in decarbonising the built environment.
