Unlocking the potential of SMEs: A holistic framework to train SME-workforce in Circular Construction

Unlocking the potential of SMEs: A holistic framework to train SME-workforce in Circular Construction
Details of the conference
Acquiring green and circular skills is essential for SMEs as they are the driving force needed to integrate the circular economy into the construction sector. Their collaboration and expertise are vital for making this transformation a reality. Furthermore, by equipping themselves with this essential knowledge, SMEs can pioneer the creation of new professional roles and businesses necessary to propel circular construction forward. This not only benefits their enterprises but also contributes to a more sustainable and resilient built environment, addressing pressing global challenges such as climate change and resource conservation.
This interactive webinar is created around the Circular Construction Skills framework and fundamental training packs for SMEs. The BUS-GoCircular initiative understands the importance of a green workforce within the construction sector. To stimulate this, the project consortium created a fundamental training pack for SMEs addressing a critical gap in the availability of a holistic training framework on circularity in construction and open source training materials that provide the basic knowledge and skills required for a circular construction workforce.
We cordially invite SMEs to join the webinar on this topic to equip themselves with the essential skills and insights necessary to spearhead the adoption of circular practices in construction, fostering both their own growth and the transformation of the industry towards sustainability.
