Webinar: Book launch for Occupant-Centric Simulation-Aided Building Design

Webinar: Book launch for Occupant-Centric Simulation-Aided Building Design
Details of the conference
This webinar will give an overview and lively discussion on the recent book titled Occupant-Centric Simulation-Aided Building Design.
Until now, occupants have often taken a back seat in the design process at the cost of comfort, usability, and energy performance, despite being the target for most new buildings. The book authors will take the audience through key findings of the book, ranging from methods to collect and incorporate occupant information into the design process, to advanced occupant modelling and simulation methods, and finally a series of international case studies.
The book was written as one of the major achievements of IEA EBC Annex 79: Occupant-centric building design and operation, and thus as a global perspective on theory and best practices.
