On the 6th of November 2024, the first ACCORD webinar on the semantic and rule formalisation process gathered 69 participants for an interactive exchange on the learning materials produced by ACCORD partners. Most participants were based in Spain, Finland, Italy and the UK, but the webinar also attracted participants from Saudia Arabia, Canada and Israel. The main participants were researchers, project managers, architects and directors.

Participants and ACCORD partners' discussions went through the topics of full automation and human final human review and approval approach, methodology for machine-readable regulation text, ontologies, ambiguous regulations text, collaboration within multidisciplinary teams for development, and tools update to match legislation.

The survey done on the last part of the webinar showed that all participants will use or might use the training material in the future, the majority of participants think that there are no improvements to be made in the training material and 'implementation' was the topic that most participants would like to learn more about. Finally, 64% of participants have never used semantic web technologies and/or AI for automatic compliance checking.
