The EU Peers Summit, held on June 11 in Brussels, gathered diverse stakeholders to advance energy-efficient building renovations towards a zero-emission EU building stock by 2050.

Funded by the LIFE programme, EU Peers aims to enhance one-stop shops (OSS) for residential renovations, integrating numerous European OSS and organizations.

Key discussions included the Energy Efficiency Directive (EED) and the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD), with Member States urged to establish OSS for energy advice and tackling energy poverty.

Presentations from France, Italy, Spain, and Hungary showcased different OSS models.

Emphasis was placed on the importance of impartial advice, partnerships, and a solid financial framework to scale OSS effectively.
