'Green Over Gray', a documentary directed by Francesca Molteni and Mattia Colombo, celebrates the work of Emilio Ambasz, an Argentinian-born architect renowned as the ‘father of green architecture.’ 

The film highlights Ambasz’s revolutionary approach to sustainable architecture, blending buildings with nature under his ‘green over grey’ philosophy, evident in four significant projects still relevant 40 years later. Ambasz, former Curator of Design at MoMA, is known for his integration of nature into urban design, winning numerous awards and holding over 220 design patents. 

Featuring interviews, archival footage, and testimonials, the film illustrates architecture's potential to harmonise with nature and influence human behaviour.
