The Sustainable Places 2023 conference in Madrid hosted a workshop on industrial deep energy retrofit, bringing together 8 EU funded projects: BuildUPspeed, DRIVE 0, ENSNARE, Giga Regio Factory, INFINITE, PLURAL, STEP UP, Switch2Save.
The workshop, titled "50 shades of industrial deep energy retrofit" emphasized that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to deep renovation and highlighted the need for tailored strategies based on factors like building typologies, climates, and countries.
