Greece's subsidy program for replacing electric water heaters with solar thermal collectors has received an overwhelming response, with over 350,000 households submitting applications.

The program, which covers 50-60% of the costs, aims to select 120,000 beneficiaries. Results are expected to be published soon, followed by a complaints process, and voucher distribution is set to begin in July. The government has allocated EUR 100 million from European funds for the program, and the entire amount must be disbursed by the end of November.
