The PLURAL project participated in the recent Public Workshop held in Athens on September 20th as part of the final meeting of the Switch2Save project.
This collaborative endeavour has been a remarkable journey of innovation and knowledge exchange.
The PLURAL project, led by project coordinator Maria Founti, played a pivotal role in contributing insights and expertise to the Switch2Save workshop. The project involvement included two significant presentations that shed light on essential aspects of the PLURAL project's outcomes:
"Lessons Learned Towards Industrialization of Active Components"
Presented by Maria Founti and Eleni Goni from E2ARC, a valued member of the PLURAL Advisory Board
"Switch2Save Contribution to the Revision of SET Plan of Active Facades"
Presented by Maria Founti and Uwe Posset from FhG ISC, esteemed partners of the Switch2Save project
Also, Sara Van Rompaey, a member of the PLURAL Advisory Board from E2ARC, brought a unique perspective to the event with her presentation on the "Architect's Perspective on Designing Buildings with Smart and Efficient Features."
The Public Workshop in Athens was an enriching experience, bringing together more than 35 experts, including members of the Switch2Save Advisory Board and the Project's Officer.
One of the highlights of the workshop was the opportunity for participants to visit the NTUA Living Lab. Here, they were introduced to real-time monitoring and the impressive results achieved so far from the Swith2Save EC-TC Insulating Glass Units and the PLURAL SmartWall.
