Thermo-modernisation of the Polish pilot site of RINNO project

RINNO partner NAPE is applying technical and environmentally-friendly solutions to improve thermal comfort and reduce heating costs for building occupants.

The Polish demo site is located in the Jabłonna Commune, just outside Warsaw. It is a multi-family house equipped with individual gas stoves and are built without insulation. The building has been built in the 1940s and has never undergone any form of renovation. As part of the energy efficient retrofitting of the building, or thermo-modernisation, several measures are planned, such as: installing insulation, replacing outdated heating and cooling systems, and integrating renewable energy sources.

NAPE has developed a list of technically and economically viable solutions for the RINNO deep renovation of the building with the aim of lowering the cost and increase energy efficiency which would bring many environmental, social and financial benefits.
