Twin city call for Nature-based Solutions project
JUSTNature, a H2020 funded project focused on nature-based solutions, has announced an open call for a twin city to collaborate with the City Practice Labs (CiPeLs) in Munich. The initiative aims to exchange knowledge and address common challenges related to the implementation nature-based solutions, which are an important asset in greening buildings and cities to counter climate change.
The potential twin city should have similar characteristic to the City of Munich, that is:
- Continental climate affected by the proximity to the Alps
- High urban density
- More than 100.000 inhabitants
- Climate change as a challenge
The chosen twin city will have the chance to participate in cross-learning workshops and bi-annual online meetings, covering various aspects such as engagement, governance, business replication, IT solutions, and gender-related issues.
Interested cities are invited to apply by completing the application form available online until the end of July 2023, with the workshop scheduled to take place in October 2023.
