All the components of this tourist office are recyclable and reusable. Some of the materials used for this new construction are: bamboo, steel, local wood, bio-compatible rubber membrane. In particular, the wood used comes from neighbourhood forests located in less than 50km distance. The building facade comprises of "living architecture", meaning that is planted with about fifty species and varieties of perennial Mediterranean plants that are naturally resistant to drought and wind.

 

Moreover, even though it is connected to the traditional water supply, the building is energy and water efficient, thus it can function autonomously.
