A building envelope refers to the design and construction of the exterior, including the roof, exterior doors and windows, and exterior walls. A good building envelope denotes the use of exterior wall materials and designs that are climate friendly and structurally sound.

In this context, the EU-funded ENSNARE project will strive to increase the implementation of renovation packages through digitalisation of the entire process and development of an industrialised envelope mesh enabling fast assembly and interconnection of passive and multifunctional building components.

Three pilot renovation projects will validate the ENSNARE solution, which links to a digital model that serves as a digital twin of the renovated building.
