Integrated Home Renovation Services (IHRS) help reduce the EU's building-related CO2 emissions. Success stories, from Hungary to Spain, showcase trust-building, tailored support, and financial solutions for sustainable renovations.

The SERAFIN Association, founded in 2013, is a key provider of IHRS in France, focusing on energy efficiency and social inclusion. Expanding from its origins in Picardie, it now includes five regional organisations.

SERAFIN has renovated over 6,000 homes and issued 1,300 loans, aiming for at least 35% energy savings per project. Its services include energy audits, financial and technical support, contractor supervision, and post-renovation follow-ups.

Funded through public subsidies and customer fees, SERAFIN ensures accessibility and quality. Its comprehensive, customer-centric approach has made it a leader in sustainable home renovation in France.
