Each month a relevant topic and several sub-topics are covered in detail. For the Topic of the Month, content following a common thread is developed by BUILD UP Editorial Board in collaboration with the Board of Ambassadors and other relevant experts in the field. This includes producing articles, case studies, webinars and more, all in line with the specific topic selected. Relevant events are also identified and highlighted.

iBRoad2EPC model Renovation Passport
A blueprint for success: How a modular renovation passport can accelerate deep renovation
The iBRoad2EPC project, funded by the EU's Horizon 2020 programme, developed an affordable, adaptable and modular renovation passport that helps Member States meet most of the mandatory and optional requirements for renovation passports listed in the EPBD, according to their national priorities and targets. This approach also helps Member States to bridge the gap between EPCs and renovation passports, integrating them to motivate building owners to undertake staged deep renovations.

EPBD Article 9 – Minimum Energy Performance Standards (MEPS) and trajectories for progressive renovation: Policy needs and analysis of good practice examples
Minimum Energy Performance Standards (MEPS) are new policy components introduced in Article 9 of the revised Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD 2024/1275). This report examines the policy requirements for implementing MEPS in the focus countries of the EPBD.wise project: Bulgaria, Greece, Hungary, Poland, Romania, and Ukraine.

Uno studio ENEA evidenzia come, nonostante la maggior parte degli edifici italiani sia ancora datata e obsoleta dal punto di vista del risparmio energetico, ci sia un trend positivo per quanto riguarda le prestazioni energetiche sia per il settore abitativo che non residenziale.
