In January 2023 the Scottish Government announced its intention to introduce Passivhaus equivalent energy efficiency targets into Scotland’s building standards. 

The policy is currently out to consultation and the Passivhaus Trust is concerned that what is being proposed could fall significantly short of the intended aspirations.
