Current global building renovation rates are far below what is required to meet EU and international climate commitments. Building renovation is a complex and capital-intensive process requiring collaboration between public and private actors. This session will focus on uncovering practical strategies and fostering collaboration to significantly accelerate energy-efficient renovations worldwide.
Engage with a panel of experts from national and sub-national governments, as well as leading figures in the private sector, who are at the forefront of shaping the future of energy efficiency and building renovations.
Panellists will shed light on insights from Climate Group’s Renovation Revolution Handbook. The Energy Efficiency in Buildings Task Group will showcase its recent publication, Deep Energy Retrofit Models, focusing on the experience of Argentina, Brazil, China, the European Commission, Germany, Korea, and Saudi Arabia. Leveraging insights from these reports, this webinar would offer strategies to deploy effective solutions, potential for new collaborations, and strategic innovations.
