SOFTacademy is an EU-funded renovation project to transform apartment buildings and courtyards in Mustamäe, Tallinn (Estonia), into sustainable, inclusive, and beautiful spaces aligned with the New European Bauhaus (NEB) principles.

The project will renovate four apartment buildings and improve the urban area between them, with a focus on community involvement.

The Mustamäe tee neighbourhood was selected for its higher number of beneficiaries, diverse renovation stages, and larger courtyard area, offering opportunities for innovative design. Co-design of the courtyard area will begin in 2025, with implementation slated for 2026 to enhance the local living environment.
