Only a joint effort from the EU can boost energy transition
In these times of uncertainty, the EU Member States should jointly make an effort to boost the energy transition. This means to reduce the cost of the Energiewende to a zero-emission energy system. Are Member States and all of us ready to implement this paradigm shift towards a cleaner future?

X-tendo and U-Cert final conference: the road to enhanced and future-proof energy performance certificates – 6 July 2022
Funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme, X-tendo and U-CERT are closing three years of commitments and achievements in the field of next generation building performance assessment and certification. Part of the Next Gen EPCs cluster (D^2EPC, E-DYCE, ePANACEA, EPC-RECAST, crossCert, EUBSuperHub, iBRoad2EPC, TIMEPAC) with other 9 projects and, and together with QualDeEPC, they were the first to start in 2019 on this topic.

What Are the Most Durable, Yet Environmentally Friendly Foundation Materials?
The foundation is one of the most critical parts of constructing a home, requiring durable materials for a rock-solid structure that stands for years to come. A 2021 study commissioned by manufacturing company 3M found that 70% of homebuyers want to use green materials for their next renovation project. Of those, about 90% are between 18 and 40 years old.
