nZEB Ready aimed to drive the implementation of nearly Zero-Energy Buildings (nZEB) by directly addressing the market's need for highly qualified professionals and reliable technology solutions. The initiative successfully trained a critical mass of workers, spanning from specialized designers and engineers to on-site installers, while actively engaging public authorities to recognize and demand these advanced energy skills in their projects. As a practical resource for experts seeking to upskill today, the project provides a comprehensive set of ready-to-use training modules and technical guidelines specifically tailored for the design, construction, and certification of high-performance nZEBs.

NS4NZEB focuses on boosting the number of qualified building professionals capable of delivering nearly Zero-Energy Buildings (nZEB) through specialized training methods. The project is developing and piloting new tailored courses, bridging the gap between theoretical NZEB concepts and practical on-site application. The initiative offers open-access training materials and methodological guidelines specifically designed for integrating NZEB standards into everyday construction practices.

The nZEB Roadshow project utilised innovative mobile exhibition pavilions as active on-site training hubs to tackle the critical skills gap in the construction sector. Through practical demonstrations of nearly Zero-Energy Building (nZEB) technologies and specialized capacity-building events, the initiative directly trained hundreds of building professionals, designers, and craftspeople. As a result, the project upgraded the workforce's practical competencies in crucial areas like airtightness, ventilation, and insulation, directly connecting newly upskilled professionals with emerging market opportunities.

Key usable outputs and tools:
- Mobile demonstration units: Fully equipped mobile training and consultation centers featuring transportable mock-ups, building product samples, and diagnostic tools to facilitate hands-on, on-site learning. Tjey provide rel-life experience of a quality nZEB and are equipped with climate systems, insulation mock-ups, and diagnostico tools to demostrate building performance firsthand.
- Gamification techniques and tools: A collection of physical, real-sized construction mock-ups and gamified training tools (such as window installation rigs and insulation kits) designed to teach airtightness, window placement, and mechanical ventilation in an engaging way. Translated and illustrated educational comic books featuring "nZEBO" to simplify complex technical standards, effectively serving as an innovative training tool for introductory workshops and school programs.
- Replicable event framework: A complete, field-tested methodology and organizational blueprint for running localized, multi-component construction fairs, job matchmaking events, and on-site training sessions that can be adopted by local authorities or training bodies.
