CRO skills – rebooting the National Platform and Roadmap

CRO skills RELOAD focused on accelerating energy-efficient building renovations in Croatia by rebooting its national skills framework and roadmap. The project successfully gathered key industry players to pinpoint critical deficiencies in green and digital construction competencies. As a practical legacy for the sector today, the project offers a comprehensive, stakeholder-endorsed action plan that local training centers can use to rapidly deploy relevant upskilling courses for the workforce.

Build Up Skills Ireland 2030

BUSI2030 aimed to future-proof the Irish construction workforce by updating the national skills roadmap to meet the country's 2030 climate and energy targets. The project successfully conducted a deep dive into the sector's training needs, focusing on deep retrofit, NZEB, and heat pump installations. As a valuable resource for experts today, the project provides a clear, actionable strategy and updated market data to guide the immediate development of specialized upskilling and reskilling programs.

BUILD UP Skills Lithuania – rebooting the National Construction Platform and Roadmap.

REBOOT-SKILLS-LT addressed the crucial shortage of qualified construction workers in Lithuania by comprehensively redefining the national BUILD UP Skills roadmap. Through active stakeholder engagement, the project successfully identified the most pressing skills gaps related to energy efficiency and sustainable building practices. Today, local professionals and educational bodies can leverage the project’s detailed action plan to implement targeted, high-quality training schemes that meet actual market demands.

 

 

Rebooting the National Platforms for the development of construction skills for all life cycle phases of buildings in Hungary

ConstructSkills4LIFE focused on preparing the Hungarian building sector for widespread deep renovations by thoroughly updating its national skills strategy. The initiative successfully mapped the critical workforce gaps concerning nZEB standards, digitalization, and smart building technologies. As a lasting legacy for the industry, the project provides a fully endorsed roadmap that training providers can utilize right now to align their upskilling programs with the country's decarbonization goals.

 

BUILD Up Skills for mainstreaming long-term renovation of Romanian building stock

BUS4RoBOOST aimed to significantly increase the number of skilled building professionals in Romania by modernizing its national skills roadmap for 2030. The initiative successfully analyzed the current labor market, highlighting the urgent need for cross-craft training in energy efficiency and renewables. As a practical tool available today, the project delivers a comprehensive strategy and dataset that training centers can directly use to design impactful reskilling courses for local workers.
