Editorial Team

This family home in Oostvoorne is designed to integrate with its forested surroundings while prioritising sustainability. The structure consists of CLT (Cross Laminated Timber) volumes, charred Accoya wood facades, and green aluminium accents for durability and a natural aesthetic.

Large glass openings connect the interior to the landscaped garden, while biobased materials and features like loam walls and wood fiber insulation promote a healthy indoor climate

Sustainable systems, including a geothermal heat pump, energy roof, heat recovery ventilation, and rainwater harvesting through green roofs, ensure the house generates surplus energy, exemplifying an eco-friendly approach that harmonises architecture with the environment.
