"In the situation we have now, there is a lack of skilled workers specially in the construction sector. The case of the heritage sector is another aspect important here because we are needing traditional skills, because traditional buildings need traditional skills to be protected and kept in shape for the future. When we lose these traditional skills, we also lose the ability to keep those buildings in shape". Gerald Wagenhofer, Manager Director at UBW.

"What is very important in order to improve the building performance is to integrate renewable energy sources. We need to have very efficient ventilation to ensure the indoor air quality, we need to have very efficient heating and cooling systems, but what is important to understand is that all those things need to work together".
